My favourite independent news article this week is by Krish Na. Absolutely top marks for investigative journalism. Krish Na reports that One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts may not only be still a citizen of India but possibly a British citizen as well.

Malcolm Roberts, in spite of his express denials, very likely continues to be a citizen of India, thanks partly to India’s former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Krish Na reports. AFTER GREENS Senator Larissa Waters’ resignation, One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts issued a statement saying that he asked for clarification from ‘Indian authorities’ on his citizenship in 2014 and said they confirmed that he is not an Indian citizen.

My favourite blog post this week is written by Victoria Rollison. Victoria points out the inability of the media to understand (and report) Shorten’s message. “I am both unsurprised and disappointed that the mainstream political media have not only completely missed the significance of Shorten’s agenda but have also missed the key point.”
A big moment for Labor (and again journos misunderstand) – The AIM Network
Shorten used a speech on Friday to set Labor’s economic agenda for the next Labor government. This agenda states clearly that inequality is hurting the economy, and that anything you do to reduce inequality is good for the economy. This is not just an economic announcement. It is a social one too.

Also, the one given is that the self absorbed MSM with their own self importance MSM and is wilfully ignorant and oblivious that under Turnbull’s NBN there is an ever widening digital divide thanks to his dud NBN. It’s not that difficult to figure out that those that can least afford it will be locked out of the digital economy/world access to healthcare provider/essential services/kids locked out of 21st century education and toolkit of the future. The NBN was not just about Netflix or Stan etc, it’s about access to vital services and information/life saving information eg the pensioner/unemployed/ those with disability etc. all those living in regional/rural/remote/unemployed underemployed etc. By the time they have accessed their healthcare provider/services etc their data would be done for and will need to wait for the next pay packet. So to the jingoism “you decide what’s best for your needs” is a furphy. The data need is about all of the above essential services and 21st century Australia. It’s as if the burgeoning social inequality/job insecurity and disappearing shopfloor was/is not enough, for them they play dead on the above.
Could not believe on Q&A the Minister Josh whatever did not even connect the dots when he blithely droned on about E-health etc and I thought bloody hell they really had/ave no idea about 21st century and what constitute a socially just and equal 21st century Australia.
So from now until election day just watch the self absorbed MSM full of their own self importance go full flight to save their anointed PM. It’s going to be full on from now they’ll manipulate news to suit their purpose, mislead/misinform, denigrate, monster anybody/everybody (Bill Shorten ACTU, CFMEU, unemployed etc) who has the temerity to stand-up to them and argue against their view of the world. The one given is when Turnbull and his motley crew is done with the wreckage they inflict on Australia unravelling all hard fought gains of 20th century destroying any semblance of a 21st century Australia yep Turnbull will definitely have his beloved Elizabethan Australia wages, working and living conditions. To anybody else out there take it back, take back our Politics, stand up and fight to good fight protect what’s left of the hard fought gains of 20th century and fight for a socially equal fair and just 21st century Australia the real one not the Elizabethan one, if not for us how about for those still to come. So please let’s shut down their echo-chamber, don’t click bait them, don’t Facebook them, don’t Instagram them, don’t twitter them or buy their print for they use their numbers as bragging rights to do us over.
