Pauline Hanson’s One Nation has agreed to sign off on the anti-worker ABCC Bill. Labor’s Senator Doug Cameron has hung up One Nation’s dirty laundry out to dry for everyone to see.
Labor’s Senator Doug Cameron fought the anti-worker parties yesterday in the senate. He pointed out One Nation’s hypocrisy as the ‘Party for the Average Australian.’ The Average Australian does not have a helicopter pilot like Ms. Hanson; they go out every day and slog their guts out for a weekly wage.
The Anti-Worker ABCC Bill Caused the 2016 Election
Australians went to the election because the anti-worker ABCC (Australian Building and Construction Commission) bill was unable to pass the (then) senate. However, this was not an issue fought on during the election campaign. The Liberal party remained silent on it. Their first major supporters of this bill – One Nation were also silent on it.
In One Nation’s campaign launch video Pauline Hanson suggested that Australians were disillusioned with Political Parties. She spoke about freedom of speech and democracy and what is best for Australia. Hanson asked Australian to think about ‘what are we doing for our kids future?’ Well she hasn’t done any favours for your kids since taking office. Think about that.
She then complained how the Prime Minister can get a pay rise, but ordinary Australians are struggling to pay bills and hold a job. In her usual form, she told Australians in her campaign launch this was all the fault of foreigners. Was this to deflect away from hard questions about why she was Anti-Worker? Yes, Yes it was and Yes it still is.
Her actual actions so far in parliament – what she has supported and voted on, show that she is actual standing up against her own campaign. To be Anti-Worker is Un-Australian and Hanson should have had it up to here with her own Anti-Worker stance.
To Jail a Man For Striking, It’s a Rich Man’s Country Yet!
Hanson’s support for the ABCC will see workers jailed and fined for stopping work due to an injury or death on site. So if someone dies on site, just keep working, productivity is more important than making sure it does not happen to you. That is the reality of this bill.
Her support for this bill will also see workers having no right to silence and no right to a lawyer. Drug peddlers, rapists and murderers get these rights!
Hanson is making a mockery of the freedom of speech and democracy now she has the votes needed for a $200,000 a year job. If you don’t know what a charlatan is. Google it! Because she is one. Freddy Mercury sang a song about her. It’s called “The Great Pretender.”
Hanson is treating the people who voted for her (and their kids I might add) who are mostly working class from regional and rural communities, with utter contempt.
If Hanson had championed in her Campaign about how she was going to support the ‘Big Major Party – the Liberals and the Nationals’ to stick a huge rough end of the pineapple to the Australian Worker; would she have received so many votes? I don’t think so.
Voting to Destroy Workers Rights
It’s about time third party politicians, especially the populist politicians who only yell back at people there is a problem, to be held to account for their actual actions.
Hanson was the first cross bench party to eagerly put up her hand to say that she would support Malcolm Turnbull’s anti-Worker ABCC Bill.
One Nation who cleverly duped voters into giving their party four seats in the senate are voting for:
- Make illegal to insert into an agreement that they employ apprentices and mature aged workers.
- Make illegal to put Australian workers before Foreign Workers
- Make illegal to negotiate with the company that they use local manufactured building materials on the job.
- Make illegal to have safety officers on the job
- Make illegal to reduce casualised employment on a job
It is evident now that Hanson’s One Nation party is flipping the bird to Australian Workers. Why would they care?
They are NOT a workers party.
They have no history of protest for the worker.
They have no history of pushing pro-worker Legislation.
They have no record of standing in solidarity to ensure the safety of workers.
There is only ONE worker’s party in Australia and that is The Australian Labor Party. Labor will always stand up for the Worker. Senator Cameron has stood up for the worker for over 30 years. Every. Single. Day.
It’s time voters got their priorities right for 2017 and changed their vote to a worker’s vote instead of dishing out votes based on the fear of other people as espoused by Hanson. We are a better country than that.
I fervently watched the Senate debate on this ABCC bill yesterday Trish and on top of Doug Cameron and his Labor colleagues in the Red Room I acknowledge the fantastic argument against the ABCC the Greens also put up
To the eternal shame of the one block that could have derailed this insidious bill Nick Xenophon Team showed their true Liberal colours
For all his years of palaver as a people`s champion,he is nothing but a fraud

Pleasing to read some Tweets how Xenophon won’t last now. I hope he doesn’t. He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Hinch is pathetic and Hanson’s One Nation will be shown up for this dog act against the very people who voted for them.

What is it with South Australia having politicians outside the majors who wilfully stick the knife into the rest of us {aka Meg Lees}
What a waste of a vote this one was as well >>>
Meg Heather Lees was a member of the Australian Senate from 1990 to 2005, representing the state of South Australia
Let`s hope the anger transposes itself into lost seats for NXT
I do give a SHOUT OUT for Jacqui Lambie on her position against the ABCC,HUZZAH Jacqui

Yeh the idiots on AIMN with their abuse of anyone Labor might fall over backwards if they knew the things I’ve written to the Greens about. Like letting them know the disgusting treatment of their candidate by the LNP rabble.

For example Biggy:
Thank you for contacting Senator Waters, who asked me to respond on her behalf. As you can imagine during a busy election campaign it isn’t possible for Senator Waters to respond to everyone individually.
The Queensland Greens has a women’s action group which is designed to bring women in the party together to discuss issues and support each other during election campaigns. Senator Waters is a big believer in the important of women coming together to support and mentor each other and she has been lucky enough to have some wonderful mentors during her time in politics.
It can be very tough to campaign for progressive politics in regional areas which is why Senator Waters has spent as much time as possible supporting Greens candidates in regional areas. Senator Waters asked me to thank you for your kind email and concern for Kate, it is a lovely display of bipartisanship.
Best wishes,
Catherine Garner, Office Manager
Senator Larissa Waters
Deputy Leader of the Australian Greens, Senator for Queensland

Hanson is an opportunist, who seems to twist the truth to suit herself and people who don’t follow politics seem to think that she stands for something that in fact she doesn’t stand for. We have had protest voters for a long time in Australia, The Greens began as a protest party and has continued to represent Left leaning views up until their current leader.
We need a really aggressive Labor Party now! We need Shadow Ministers giving daily press conferences and really go on the attack. The ALP picked up 14 seats at the July election but have withdrawn back into their collective shells. If the elected representatives apart from Doug Cameron (who we know is fair dinkum) are fair dinkum they should be on the attack for the next two and a half years to knock this evil tory govt over.
We should be seeing the ALP alternative to the ABCC in policies that are pro-worker, this is why they are paid the big money, please get stuck in on our behalf.

Who are these Shadow Ministers going to give their pressers to TB?
Almost 100% of pressers given by Shorten on the ABC are cut off and opinionated against in the narrative
Believe it or not SKY gives a better ALP coverage than other TV networks
This is all so wrong because the opposition narrative is now hijacked by conservative media
